Rain Barrel
Installation Instructions

Top Bottom Spigot & Elbow Glue
The barrels come with a water spigot, a secondary lower bottom hose connection and a top overflow valve which allows any excess water to be diverted into a second barrel, or by attaching a hose, the water can be channeled to any designated area such as a garden or flower bed.

Apply glue around the spigot, secondary connection and overflow valve and screw straight into the barrel. After inserting the spigot, apply sealant to the inside threads of the spigot, attach the 90 degree elbow or pipe coupler and hand tighten.

Formula to remember
1 inch of rain on a 1000 sq ft roof yields 623 gallons of water. To calculate the yield of your roof, multiply the square footage of your roof by 623 and divide by 1000.
